As a woman in the corporate world, there are some outfits you shouldn't wear to your office. Those outfits you shouldn't wear and the looks just make  you look
irresponsible or unfriendly.

1: Wearing the heavy makeup makes you look all mean and unfriendly even when you aren't like that. First impression matters and am sure you first want to create a positive one.

2: Thou shalt not polish your nails with very loud, bright colours of nail polish. The attention should be on the service you render and not your nails.

3: Your hair should be well kept, a crazy, rock star hairstyle doesn't speak good of you and your organisation. Maintain one colour, do small highlights but not much. Remember it's an office not a club or Oscar awards.

4: The see through wears are not appropriate for office.

Wear a camisole under that chiffon shirt of yours, so you don't look like an employee with ulterior motive.

5: The 6 inches heels are meant for those who have rides, and usually stay in the office for long. Now if you can walk on a  long distance with these, don't get me wrong you can wear it. However, if you take public transport, you are a marketer or your work involves standing a lot, please don't wear these. You will be hurting your toes and leg. The two or three inches can do and still make you walk majestically


6: Suit is considered the most appropriate outfit for those in the corporate world. However, the suits and blazers with bright colours and details might not be well appreciated. Remember the attention should be on the service and not you, it's a formal organisation.
